Confirmed for 1.11.
I've experienced and can confirm the same problem with the latest snapshot (16w44a). The mansion generates on the edge of a Roofed Forest biome and an Extreme Hills biome, in contact with lava underneath, which starts to slowly burn down the mansion. There is also gravel and stone from the Extreme Hills biome that ends up inside the mansion. Seems like it shouldn't be too hard to fix this issue, even if Mojang does not consider it to be a bug. The seed I'm using is -5689158517226401472, and the mansion coordinates are 4310 -10741.
I'm experiencing the same issue. I see it with slime blocks, with ice, and also with underwater glass blocks.
If I place a block (any block) near the affected area, the lighting fixes itself. But then if I fly away from that area (but not very far...all of the chunks are still loaded and visible), and then fly back, the problem often reoccurs.
I agree, but how does one even get this issue revisited? Seeing as it's marked as "Resolved" and "Works As Intended", who is going to see these comments and be able to get it reopened?
