@Leo MacWilliam I have worlds from when I had me old Xbox and when I switched I wanted to delete some of them and there was 2 worlds I had that I could not delete every time I tried it would try to sync my Xbox but would always fail or just load forever. I have tried to delete the world from My files explorer on my Xbox but every time it would delete but then replicate the world making it stuck on Minecraft as a unplayable world that can’t be removed. After sharing your experience I think that is the cause of the problem.

Hello my name is David, and I am a gamer that plays Minecraft on my Xbox Series S and I am currently having the problem that is being claimed to be happening to other people including me. I don't have a fix, but I do have lots of info for developers to work with when fixing this problem. Ok when you start up Minecraft everything is normal, the menu is normal, making a world is normal, and the 1st 1-5 minutes of playing is normal but 5-15 minutes after joining a world or making one the problem starts. After 5-15 minutes my frame rate starts to drop A LOT and my game starts to get a little laggy and progressively over time the lag gets worse and worse. In a minute of the lag starting my game is frozen stuck on the same screen and will stay like that. Keep in mind the game never crashes it's just stuck on a frozen screen till you restart the game, but you can unfreeze the game kind of. You can unfreeze the screen by tapping your Xbox home button on your controller this opens the Xbox menu and unfreezes the game, but this is only temporally it fixes the game for 1-6 seconds before it freezes again. You can just press the home button again to fix it, but it always goes back to its frozen state soon after. At this point there's nothing you can do so you restart the game, but the problem happens again 5-15 minutes after playing. My Minecraft is a digital copy bought on an older Xbox that didn't have this problem and it didn't start when I bought my Series S it happened months after almost a year and the problem started back of October just 2 months ago. I took a month break from the game and game back to broken one. Also, this problem is only this game and as I can tell my Xbox is 100% normal. Another also if I switch accounts on the same Xbox Minecraft is normal, but when I switch back to my account it's broken. So, my guess the problem has to do with Minecraft and my Xbox account being linked together but that's my guess. Also, this problem happens on worlds made before or after the glitch started, if I join someone's world (but only to me), and when joining a server. I have done everything I could think of to fix this I deleted the games local save, deleted and reinstalled the game, check if my console was working right (It was), tested switching accounts, and last factory rested my Xbox all with still this same problem happing. I messaged Minecraft support and was transferred to 4 people on messages, and they all didn't know what to do I was then brought to this website by email. I also was on the phone with Xbox support, and they never called back after they said they would 😞. Three things to call this glitch very weird, hard to fix, and consistent because every time I do something to fix the problem it stays the same it does not get better or worse just the same. I don't think this will go away something needs to get done NOW. I hope this info will help developers understand this problem and will help them fix it faster and hurry up please I want to get back to being able to play with friends without needing to leave every 5 minutes thank you for reading this and bye. THIS PART WAS EDITED AFTER POSTING. I read the comments and for me this problem did not start by a in store Minecraft purchase unless a free pack from the marketplace caused the problem. (I have never bought anything from the Minecraft marketplace.)
