I had the exact same issue affect my realm today. At least 4 chunks are impacted by the dog death sound. It’s triggered when any player crosses into the chunk, but weirdly, only from certain directions. At least one chunk is affected by the inability to place a block at a specific Y level. I still have more testing to determine the extent of this bug. Finally, Realms won’t let me download the world, which is related to a different bug report.
