MC-86169 Cmd + Q to drop a stack quits the game Duplicate

It would be nice if Mojang fixed (ancient) bugs like this instead of adding new content to the game. Mods can already add more content to the game than Mojang can dream of, but they can't fix bugs, so Mojang is ultimately just wasting time. ¬_¬

@FVbico,

> you have to select the game mode you are in when you re-create the map......

That's the bug. You need to manually change the game-mode. The problem is that the existing world is already Hardcore (or Creative; ie not Survival), so the Re-Create function detects that and displays it on the [Game Mode] button in the UI, but does update the variable behind the button to reflect that. You have to manually click the button 3 times to cycle through the modes, which is both unnecessarily annoying, and also confusing.

> also when you die in hardcore, your world get instantly deleted, so how can you re-create it then?

Not necessarily. When you die in a hardcore game, you can click [Spectate World], then exit the world the normal way, and it will not be deleted.

Still got this in 0.12, and I'm still getting this in the latest 0.13 build. The hotbar, crafting, inventory, and smelting are all really small on my Nexus 7 2013.

@ezekielelin Are you sure? That issue report says "pressing cmd + Q does not quit the game", where as mine says it does quit the game

I can also confirm that this affects the Nexus 7 (2013) on version 0.11. The hotbar is annoyingly small, inventory screens, crafting, smelting. Pretty much everything except the main menu, world select, create a world, and the options screen is too small.
