Experiencing exactly this problem. Tried to renew a week or two ago and error message indicated "recurring payment had already been payd for within payment period". Email 3 days ago indicated our recurring payment would be charged in 3 days; today we're getting same "already payd for" and Realm now indicates it's expired.

Thanks, Wren!  This worked perfectly for us! (Multiplayer > join server > cancel before connecting > log back into realms)
