I wasn't using renderdragon or rtx, as I don't have an rtx graphics card, sooooooooooooo.

If you right click on the invisible part, after it crashes your game, the chest re appears and all your stuff is still in it.

I am having this same problem, and this is what I have tried: ringing the bell after hitting a villager and having the golem agro on me, ringing the bell half a second after hitting a villager, triggering a raid and hitting the bell on all waves, moving the bell and ringing in different spots, having mobs come into the village to attack villagers and then ringing it, ringing the bell as a mob attacks a villager, and the are some others that I don't remember, but if I do, I will add a follow up comment.
