Comments

I believe this has already been reported in MC-184609.

Likely a duplicate of MC-184907, considering the new crash reports.

This may be a duplicate of/related to MC-184907 - same error during the crash. It may be taking a moment to load the chunk causing the error. Does the game crash whenever you mine that particular block, and remain running if you mine around it, or does it crash anyway?

I got this crash on a customized world, and it appears to occur consistently when I go towards a particular location on that save. However, after re-creating the world, I cannot reproduce the issue. It seems that the location I am heading towards is a village, and the game possibly crashes when the village is generated.

Please note that it is:

java.lang.NullPointerException: Colliding entity with block

on entering an end portal, while it is:

java.lang.NullPointerException: Ticking player

on entering a nether portal for a player, and:

java.lang.NullPointerException: Ticking entity

when a sheep/other animal enters a nether portal.

Can confirm partially, as I observed it in one world, but a second world generated to see if it would happen again did not have the same issue. I cannot remember whether I generated the first world in 1.14.2 or a 1.14.3 pre-release, but the second world was generated in 1.14.3 pre-2

I believe this is working as intended - grindstone is smoothing the pages maybe? 😉

Seed does not appear to be generating the same terrain for me. Could you add a screenshot of the chat when you do /seed and confirm it in the description please?

I'm guessing this happens right at the beginning of the world, just after you start it up. The same thing often happens to me, but it usually clears up after a few minutes. It seems to just be a bit of lag associated with world generation. If it doesn't stop after a few minutes, try turning down some of your graphics settings to reduce lag.

Only workaround I've found is to use commands to /setblock a new portal, which will teleport you to the outer islands.

Worked for me, windows 10 18w48b. See image.

Turned random tick speed to 1000000, then back. Normally would expect this to instantly grow the crops but this didn't happen.

Does not block MC-136386 because when setblocking an end gateway over the main island the bug occurs as a gateway generates over the outer islands and travelling between the two breaks the loyalty

What version was the world made in?

Could be related. To the reporter: Is the location you tp to over ocean for you?

The environment field is only for system information/java info. Please move the description of your issue to the description field.

The environment field is only for computer specs, system info, java info etc. Please put the description in the description field. It would also be helpful if you can attach the error the launcher throws at you when you try to launch the snapshot.

Can confirm, tested on mac
