My issue came up while my subscription was about to expire so I switched to normal/non-plus/2-player realms.

Whenever I try to close the game or load another game it freezes my switch.

I noticed you can tap the power button on the top of switch to put it into sleep mode, then wake it up to and then close the game. This can be a bit of a workaround to unfreeze quicker.

I have the same issue as this where i subscribed via Windows 10 edition. Maybe I have created a duplicate bug.
