Same issue, 147mb world, "syncing" will go up to 71% and then it will stop and say that it couldn't sync now etc...
It's interesting that it always stops at 71%, even after i reinstalled the game and tried again.
The message that shows is: We couldn't sync your data with the cloud just now Guest Try syncing again or use this game or app offline. (0)
If I choose try again, it shows the same message and if I choose use offline it shows a message that says: World Conversion Failed Oops, something went wrong etc...
