2.15 update just released didn't fix issue
Update it did fix issue just un-install minecraft then re-install
I have the same issue too it seems to gets stuck on the mojang studios screen after the current update. The cause of the issue is that Minecraft bedrock edition for the PS4 can't tell if you have the VR stuff set-up or not & it's trying to determine whether you do or not similar to how a game gets stuck on a cutscene. As to how to fix it we'll have to wait for an update/patch.
