I have had similar on a iphone 6s. Inventories are either clieared, or in one case, all enchanged items are no longer enchanted and armor is gone.
Still happening on kindle fires. Server is on iphone which doesn't have issues but the fires connected "loose their buttons" around areas with decently complex devices including sorters and mine cart collection systems. Chests and other containers have rendering issues or disappear with the buttons. Its 100% reproducible on the world my kids and I play on in three different locations.
