I am having the same issue on the switch, it cannot login into my microsoft account. I tried redownloading, signing in multiple times via the code (says done on the the other device but I till get the "something went wrong message." I noticed this happened yesterday when the store updated, it was fine prior to this happening in the morning, but I cannot login now. Any help would be appreciated.
