I have this issue on Windows 10 edition as well. Never had it before until the moment I finished the update just now.
I have two monitors each using AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series, extended screen
tried single screen with either card disabled
tried the suggestion to play with the graphic settings (Minecraft app + Power Saving mode)
Driver Version 20.11.2, updated a month ago. Latest version released at the moment.
CPU Intel Core i7-4770
Minecraft starts up and then just shows me the moving panoramic. I hear buttons clicking when I click on the screen, but nothing happens.
EDIT: Followed Skiguros's workaround, game launches successfully, but my backup worlds (I play on Realms) are gone. Not a big loss to me, but for those running off their hard drive may be very unhappy with the workaround.
