Dear support, this issue has been going on for months, no updates have solved the issue on my side, 1.6.1 included. I have one iPhone X, one iPad 2 and one iPad mini. I've noticed that the problem sometimes disappears when I'm connected to certain networks out of home, but I'm not sure why or if it always works on the same network. Could this be related to some kind of network configuration?

I'm having the exact same issue, but on my ipads. I have an iPad mini (iOS version 11.4.1) and an iPad 2 (iOS version 11.4). Minecraft is the latest version for iOS. I have tried reinstalling but the problems still remain. Some times, the game initiates, but after staying for several minutes in the white screen between the Mojang and Minecraft screens. But even then, some times the game freezes on the initial menus.
