By disabling or entering airplane mode, I could enter Minecraft without it crashing. (Thanks to Helen for this advice). Once in, I tried deleting cache, and my resource packs, but my game soon crashed again, sending it back into a crash loop.

So alternatively, at this time the only way I know to enter Minecraft is disabling Internet / enabling airplane mode, and then once in Minecraft, enabling your Internet again.

Take note, if your game crashes at any time after using this trick, it will send you into a crash loop, so repeating the process is necessary to play online.

This may be the problem, but is there any way I can delete the resource packs without entering Minecraft? I tried through System Settings, but the only option is to delete Minecraft itself.

Also, I used my second Switch profile to enter Minecraft with the same Microsoft account and it worked smoothly, but shortly after playing some servers it crashed. This then sent my Minecraft into an instant crash on every start up.

I guess I'll try making another Switch profile, and sign into my Microsoft account. Then I will try deleting resource pack caches.

Hello, I would like to second this, as I have the same exact issue. I am on Nintendo Switch as well.

It's quite simple; as soon as the main menu appears, the message "Global Resources Reset A crash was detected" flashes in the upper left corner, with a follow up of a crash.

I have tried the following: checking for corrupt data, restarting and turning off my Switch, and resetting my Internet connection, so this is in fact a bug.

the issue is still present in the current version but more light has been shed on it, The hearts still overlap by 2 pixels in default textures but is seems that it might be intentional that the 32x32 image be overlapped with the one next to it to create a more solid bar which just means that the pictures are actually 30x32 with a cut off on one side.

the connection bar overlapping into the cross hair was a mistake made in up-scaling and was due to the fact the connection bar was 1 pixel to high which put it in the cross hairs selection range.

the black outline for the experience bar is still missing but that is not a huge deal, what is not a bigger issue is the transparent parts of the experience bar sometimes have a white background, as if MineCraft was not made to handle that portion with transparencies.

this issue was recorded with Vanilla MineCraft, but I usually use a modded client so rather than just "say hey here are the versions Mojang pushed out" I figure it be best to list all the version I tested this with, and I apologise for not knowing the radius was a sphere not a cube hopefully Mojang considers making the Radius option more useful, as a sphere selection is rather difficult to work with in adventure maps or anything at all. It would almost be easier to have a command block for each block I want to check rather than mess with sphere radii.

Extra Note: Since the radius also tests for height as well as direction a 2D object like a circle and square are not correct.

Un-Modded Strictly Vanilla Minecraft, if you want to test it yourself just save the icons.png file and create a resourcepack with only that file and see for yourself
