I'm having the same problem, I've downloaded other galleries like Google (I could never open because it only lets me open default gallery of the cell phone, I use a POCO X3 GT MIUI 14 Android 13), I downloaded the skin again from different pages, including the well-known Name MC, it is PNG format. 64X64 and still the problem still appears, the version of Minecraft I use now is 1.19.81.01. This error only happens in the mobile version, in the Windows version it works correctly
