iOS: Get "That's not a Minecraft skin, silly" when trying to use custom skins

So I only started having this glitch today but when I tried to upload a new skin it said "that's not a Minecraft skin silly." I was confused because I downloaded it from a website for skins and it had the exact template. So I thought maybe that skin was bugged so I tried different skins over and over and none of them worked. So I thought maybe all the new skins I got were bugged so I went to one I downloaded a few months ago that worked back then and that one was bugged too. Still not convinced I tried to reupload the exact custom skin I had on for a week or so and it said that was also not a Minecraft skin. So I know it's not a problem with the skins cause I was wearing it for over a week and still have it on. I think Minecraft isn't able to detect any real skins right now. I can also add a picture of when I uploaded the skin I had on and it still said it wasn't a skin.

Its very easy If you want a custom skin download it from Planet Minecraft Planet Minecraft Skins

Press This link .And there are two options one is classic and one is thin .Remember Custom Skins are always jumbled.

Already know how to upload a skin :l after a few days of having them downloaded they just stop working that’s the problem. I downloaded more and they worked for 3 days and then broke again.

We were unable to reproduce the problem you are describing in the latest version. If you are having issue with a skin it's worth double checking that it meets the requirements for a valid Minecraft skin.

Also, we're going to be investigating and tracking the issue for Android at MCPE-170910, which might be related to the specific gallery app being used to open a skin file on Android specifically.

Affects 1.20.51, but only on my phone. I have tried Cx File Explorer, Gallery (default android) and Photos (Google) to select the file, silly game.

The same skin is working without any problems on Windows 10 Bedrock & Java

e windows 11.

I'm seeing this problem on Window 11 too now. The only workaround is to make your own skin pack, and use that instead.
