I also have this problem and have had it in Bedrock (on Xbox) for quite some time. It is now 1.21.2 and this is one of many useful features that Mojang has suddenly removed for apparently no reason and they refuse to add the features back. As someone who frequently uses command blocks and structure blocks this really bothers me.

I can confirm that this is still an issue, at least in bedrock version 1.21.2. I really hope Mojang will swiftly address this!
