I agree with you, but until they remove the multiplayer and invite friends options, I will be here to remember their scam.
This problem is still present in version 1.16.00 Bedrock Edition for IOS
This problem is still present in version 1.14.60, Bedrock Edition for IOS.
Is this how you solve problems? Transferring them to other reports?
I don't know if you noticed it, but the MCPE-43626 is a report from March 2019.
Are you going to solve the problem by March 2030, or will we continue for so long?
Oh sure, it was absolutely necessary to add foxes and bees, while making friends play together is completely irrelevant. What exactly are Mojang's priorities?
This is not a problem of wifi or cellular data.
Is the same, don't work in all case.
I have the same problem in Bedrock Edition for IOS.
This problem started in March 2019 and has continued to this day. Initially, in version 1.12, it was not even possible to invite other friends or see their worlds. The same in version 1.13. In version 1.14, however, there was a change: in some cases I can see my friends connected and send them an invitation. Only they don't receive it and they don't see my world. On the other hand, sometimes I see their world or their invitation, but when I try to enter, in the end it remains to load even for hours or simply crash. In summary: even if I enable the multiplayer for my single world, when I go into it I find the multiplayer disabled (exactly as in the photos above).
I end this comment by remembering something that could be useful. In March / April 2019 a message appeared in all the screens of the game, warning that the security settings had changed and that the multiplayer was disabled. To enable it you had to go to a site (aka.ms), attributable to Microsoft, modifying and security settings. Despite the hours spent, I have never been able to set foot on that site. However, I verified that all security and privacy settings, both on the Xbox and the Microsoft account, enabled multiplayer.
I also found a discussion about managing Microsoft accounts in this regard (the user complained that his security settings did not allow him to invite friends to his world of Minecraft), and here the moderators of Microsoft had simply said: " it's a Minecraft problem ").
Finally, I would like to clarify that I have never had problems accessing realms or servers. It is a problem of the multiplayer linked to the possibility of inviting into one's own world, or of entering into that of others.
I hope that will be resolved, I'm not kidding when I say that I haven't played Minecraft for over a year because I can't play with my friends.
I know, but this bug exist since March 2019.
Or are unabled to resolve it, or they don't want.
And I don't believe that this bug is impossible to fix.
