Look carefully at where the dog's collar should be. He should be able to see quite clearly that the neck or head is asymmetrical!

Ok, I don't know if you can already notice, but the dog, as you can see, was looking slightly to the left, which gave the illusion that he wasn't looking quite so straight at me.
