I have got an AMD FirePro W4190M (discrete/dedicated) with the latest Radeon Pro Software (which was installed automatically by the latest Radeon Adrenalin version). I cannot use the Adrenalin version, thus do not have access to all the the nice bells & whistles ("Gaming" tab) where you can change the "Anti-Lag" or "Image Sharpening" and so forth, which assisted some of the players to get into the game. Went through all of the different combinations available in the Radeon Pro version with no success.

Switching to the Intel HD 520 (integrated/on-chip), does allow you to go into the game and play with no visual issues........ BUT it seriously bogs down the CPU plus there is lots of lag.

Intel HD 520: Driver version 27.20.100.8189 (05 May 2020 02:00:00), Direct3D DDI (12),  Feature Levels (12_1,12_0,11_1,11_0,10_1,10_0,9_3,9_2,9_1), Driver Model (WDDM 2.1)
AMD FirePro W4190M: Driver version 27.20.14501.28009 (04 Dec 2020 02:00:00), Direct3D DDI (12),  Feature Levels (11_1,11_0,10_1,10_0,9_3,9_2,9_1), Driver Model (WDDM 2.6)

Read an article today, of an interview where Ray Tracing was mentioned using Feature Level (12.0 Ultimate). If this is the case, then does that imply that AMD drivers/adapters with max Feature Level (11.1) and which cannot use the Radeon Adrenalin version with the bells & whistles is out of luck?

See MCPE-109870 if maybe something on there might be able to assist. Also vote for that issue.

Hi, they will probably resolve it as a duplicate.

I also have got the same problem.

Intel HD Graphics 520 (on-chip) & AMD FirePro W4190M (discrete/dedicated).

  • .100 worked fine with 3+ month old drivers;

  • Updated both drivers of Intel and AMD to the latest (still no joy);

  •  Skiguros' suggestion does not work with the profile already under applications in the AMD Radeon Pro control panel;

  • I removed the MC profile from the control panel and re-added MC as a new profile with Skiguros' suggestion. This time the main screen did in fact display properly (Play - Settings - Marketplace buttons showing). However it went bonkers again after either pressing (Play), or (Settings), or (Marketplace), polygon-lines all over the screen. Closing the app and going back in again (no other changes in the control panel), it reverted back to not displaying the main screen;

  • ForlornRansomed's suggestion does work as it is using the on-chip graphics, however I share their sentiment that it does suck.

  • Probably irrelevant, but I had a similar issue playing another nostalgic game a few years back with this on-chip & dedicated GPU adapters combination. The graphics setting (engine) accepts the AMD FirePro W4190M but somewhere in loading the required .dll's it loads some of the .dll's for the on-chip GPU's configuration and some of .dll's for the dedicated GPU's configuration. I never got the publisher's version to work properly, but the Steam version (a higher version) resolved this issue. Whether this was a bug that was resolved, I cannot say for certain, but the Steam version worked with no problems.
