Hello I've searched .minecraft/options.txt but can't find it anywhere? I did a search through the finder and even when I searched all .txt files it didn't come up with any minecraft text files at all. Please could you be more specific about where this file lives. Many thanks

Hello please forgive my technical ignorance. My sons are desperate to upgrade to 1.6.2 unfortunately the upgrade will not run on their Macbook which runs OS 10.5.8. I'm afraid I don't understand what I should do to get it working, when they launch Minecraft, the screen just goes black. Please would you be kind enough to send be step by step instructions as to how to get 1.6.2 working on their computer. Many thanks untech savy mum.
