Same problem for me on Xbox One... Travelled to a Woodland Mansion, took me 6 hours to get there, loot the mansion, and get back. The next day I start Minecraft and I spawn in the middle of the ocean not even halfway on my journey to the Mansion and my boat was gone.
Please fix this issue ASAP because, as said earlier, with a broken autosave the game is unplayable.
