I started with the dedicated forced on and, it seems to work better. 70 in the latest. It should be OK to record with.

I can't work out if it a Minecraft thing or if it for everything but I may update the post if I find out.

650M 1GB VRAM

Unfortunately, I fear for the many younger Minecraft players who only have low spec computers.

Lucky I use Nvidia. Plus 16GB Ram, SSD and Quad Core i7.

80 would be a fine FPS when recording but 60 is just too low.

The drop to 60 happened in 14w11b.

I do not use resource packs.

I used to be able to easily record however recording in the latest snapshots only gives me 25 or less FPS.

This does not seem to be a duplicate of MC-45458.

There is not much change between the frame rates when moving and standing still.

The main recent decrease seems to come from the 14w11b snapshot.
