I can confirm that this is still an issue in 1.19.2. The custom biomes do not appear, even on mobile.

I have a sort of similar problem on my rca Voyager pro (Android version 6.0) where when I open the app it shows Minecraft with the white background and doesn't load the game and reapeatedly says: Minecraft pe isn't responding. Do you want to close it? And if I tap wait it still won't load and keeps saying that it isn't responding.
