Approaching the limits for Realm size (4GB) and danger of the world becoming corrupted, it was time to move away from Realms to a hosted server. The issue, failing to download. Reproduced the countless reports on download error at 1024mb for Windows Bedrock. PS download haven’t worked in ages. Stuck in Realms with 4 years of community, collaboration and creativity.

For reasons unknown to me, I managed to download the realm on iOS. A bit of surmountable hassle getting it over to a Windows device. I hope this helps some of you others in need out there.
