im in version 0.7.1, and when my kid and I get on our tablets and play WIFI, after a random amount of time it crashes. It seems like even putting wifi on makes my tablet run laggy, and when both of us are in a local wifi map, the tablet which is hosting will crash first. It just becomes unresponsive. I have a pretty good signal here, so I don't think its that. Of course after my side becomes unresponsive the other tablet will not be able to access chests, etc.
this was on a map i created during 0.6.1.
I think there are some backward compatibility issues among your updates
after update, i guess ill just have to wipe my previous games 😞
My kid came up with his own version of a work-around ; he changed the settings for the d-pad to 'lefty' .. which places the directional pad on the right side (away from the home-eject key)..
I can't get used to that mode, Im a WSAD w/ mouse user on PC ;(
Im going to place a foam barrier over the home-eject key.
did search, thanks for suggestion; searching 'armor' did not return the duplicate; i suggest a better search system involving version number
nextbook7, 1ghz processor, android 4.0.
Still having the issue in 0.7.0 version as well. Only occurs after re-entry into game AFTER hitting home key (jumping to desktop)
Got this , furnace is broken, 0.7.0 on muh nextbook7 w/ android 4.0, today after update
I've tried the Force GPU, and it didn't help.
The only time I get the seizures is after jumping to desktop(which bypasses the menu system), through the always-present touchscreen 'button' at the bottom of my screen (very close to the down pad!) When this happens I must kill the task, and open a fresh Minecraft Pocket Edition.
I'd hate to stick a piece of tape over it , I almost wonder if there'd be a way to write an 'Are You Sure?' code in, in the case that the button is pressed, bypassing the menu system.
Additionally, are users with a similar tablet whom have greater than 1ghz cpu speed having any problems after (pressing a button that tabs to their desktop, bypassing the menu system)??
I will continue to experiment around. I wish that I could disable this button on my end; If i come up with a viable solution, I will report back with details.
Upon checking, my tablet is running a 1ghz cpu.
There is a Settings > System > Developer options menu for my tablet;
Should I click "Force GPU rendering" (use 2d hardware acceleration in applications) ??
Ah, yes it does look like that. I overlooked mcpe 2411 because i thought 'vibrant screen' meant the colors were too bright; Upon watching the .mov I recognize the same violent shaking patterns.
nah, i am running new maps as well and it still crashes. The hosting tablet will become laggy while serving the map, and eventually succumbs to the lag and crashes. we've done this on both tablets, so its definitely a game-related crash.
