Not sure how to provide world download to Jira.
Do you recommend file sharing platform like Dropbox or like?
Otherwise may not be possible.
@Jiingy
If this is a dupe of an already documented bug, feel free to close this.
I'll try to be more careful when raising issues that may already be documented.
Thank you.
Going to obtain chunk data to confirm if this is a chunk-related issue, please advise.
Responding to @Jiingy :
I will optimize the world and report if the glitch occurs in the wild again.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Addendum, while exploring I encountered the bug a second time on the same Minecraft world.
I actually have the debug data for that:
[media][media][media]I made an unlisted video.
I'm afraid it's more inconclusive than I thought, but there is still some weird stuff going on here.
In the original situation, I died running away from the Warden. Despite this, the Warden persisted for a long time after I was dead. I was still hearing the Warden extremely close to my home base (located at roughly Y:50 or so) which is why I took pictures especially with subtitles on.
That's why it says "Warden Takes Notice" because I can still hear the Warden being agitated and active despite the fact that I am (in Minecraft terms) basically a MILE away from the creature, and I know this because I went back down the staircase only to find out the Warden was still mostly around the Deep Dark area.
As you can see in the unlisted video the Warden's sound still carries WAY farther than the normal Deep Dark area. It still also shows up on the audio subtitles, proving that it's still very audible.
There's a chance that maybe it's not so much the Warden tracking the player rather than being extremely loud despite being at a lower position. This even happened in the video provided, as you can tell.
I'll try to replicate the results one more time.
Will upload soon.
Results will not be able to be replicated in same location as I've already cleared it out.
I'm going to find some other Sculk biome and see if the same thing happens there.
World file is entirely too big, at least 100MB.
Advice?
