I have previously searched for this under multiple keywords with no success.

I was of the impression this is all the same bug with multiple symptoms related to how time passes in the realms. I wouldn’t have a clue on how to break it down and have it relate to each other as that is what seems to be the case. I do hope someone else has reported it and it is actioned.

I have had this issue too and have found a work around. Place a name tag in the first box of the anvil as usual but also place a name tag in the second box. Name the tag then remove the tag from second box and you will have it working. Needs to be done like this every time.
