Diamond sword and string are not tags, what you are describing are item ids, which are written without #.
If you want to remove string from a player, your command should be /clear ItsTevy minecraft:string, not /clear ItsTevy #minecraft:string.
I made a fabric mod for 1.16.5 that uses @unknown's classes and a very simple mixin. The mod works really well, however before uploading it anywhere I want to ask @unknown for permission to do so. I'll make sure to credit him since 90% of the mod is literally his code.
This effect has become very noticable in snapshot 21w10a
This also effects the consistency of the armor textures with their item counterparts.
Still occurs 1.16.1
i figured out why it was messed up
nvidia control panel fxaa was on when in previous versions it had no effect on the game
thanks for the info that it doesnt happen on every computer
Did you use multimc to make the 1.14 instance? i managed to get the old looking icons in the multimc instance, but when i switch to the default launcher it goes back to the blurry one.
You are comparing 1.12 and 1.13, im talking about 1.13 and 1.14
I uploaded a new image "tntcomparison.png" to fully illustrate what i mean, 1.13's is much more clear than 1.14's, even though they are the same texturepack. This is probably due to the new rendering engine implemented in 1.14.
This is not a texture issue, this is how block icons look on all resourcepacks, pictured here is programmers art
i cannot attach the recourse pack as it exceeds the maximum file size, but i can provide a link to download it off the BDcraft website: http://ad.bdcraft.net/564553/spbdc-128-mc113
Confirmed in release 1.17.1.
