Hello! Same happened here. Chest, furnace, shulker box, frames affected. When I brake regular chest gave me the chest but no items that where inside. When I tried to brake shulker box the whole game crashed and closed the app. My affected are is around 1 chunk x and z but goes all the way from layer 12 to 60 at least. Lot Ms of good items lost? 

Hello same happened to me! When you brake the chests you loose times inside. When I brake shulker box game crashes and closes application. I have many chest affected.. will we get the items some day? 

I have gone way fare this chunk, to the nether and end and problem persist. My Affected area is higher in depth. Is not more than 15 block square but goes all the way to the 12 layer in depth. (from water level of the foto provided )

Hello, I broke my regular chest and lost all items inside. Gave me the chest thought. Same happens with furnace and frames. When I tried to brake my shulker box the game crases and close the whole application. This only happens with sulker box!! Could it be a clue to solve the problem? Hope it helps..
