Having the same issue, before and after the hotfix.
I have an Ipad with IOS 18.7.10, and I have tried everything possible. Hard resetting my Ipad, deleting and redownloading minecraft, renaming/deleting the “options” file, airplane mode, everything I can think of except factory reseting my Ipad. That won’t do anything because I don’t have minecraft backed up in Icloud.
I now know that I’ve lost my worlds because of deleting the game, and I haven't been able not to way to get them back either. Not a big issue, I would just like to play again 😭
What I don’t understand is why a friend of mine, who has the EXACT SAME make and model of Ipad +IOS (18.7.10) as I do, has no issues and can play on minecraft but I can’t? Whats the difference?
Nothing has worked, and I haven’t been able to play in 10 days(!) When will this issue be fixed? I see that Mojang does know about the problem, do we have any approximate time of when we will get a fix for this?
A mod said that the patch will be rolling out soon and to give some time, right now I’m just camping the app store for the update! 😅
