We are having the same issue. Minecraft PE was working fine one week ago when suddenly it wasn't working anymore. It happened actually on November 3, 2019. We also see the Mojang screen turning to blank and then crashes.
We took the iPad to the Apple store, did everything we could, including erasing the system and installing it again and uninstalling and installing the application several times. We have IOS 10.3.3.
Very frustrating, my son is very unhappy. Please fix it.
