MC-76296 "Diamonds to you!" achievement unattainable in single player. Duplicate

I've been running a server with the same map for 6 years.  About 4 years ago during an update we were told the existing structures' chunks had to be loaded in a certain Minecraft version to save them for the next version.  This broke the fortresses and wither farms back then.  Since then we've loaded in new fortresses and made new wither farms just for them to break again in 1.13.  Can a command in the game be created to where I can specify where structures spawning should be?

I can confirm that this happens as well.

Kumasasa, you're the one I quoted from the other ticket. Feel free to close this if it is determined people must go into 'hard' in order to get this achievement.

Actually I think I've found the answer. Referencing MC-72245: "Zombies pick up items only at 'hard' difficulty if the local difficulty has increased." This is true. I can also can confirm that it also works on hardcore. Going to try to update the wiki so people are aware. This does mean though that only people playing on 'hard' or 'hardcore' can get this achievement. What about easy or normal?

None of the zombies are spawning with canPickUpLoot. Try spawning 200 of them in a 1x1 and throw a few diamond swords at their feet. The diamond swords will not be picked up.

Give it a try yourself before you comment.

I have searched for a solution to my high RAM issue for a while. I started to believe that 1.6.4 contained a memory leak from how often I've seen it said. But after I deleted the mineshaft.dat file, the high RAM usage issue went away. My mineshaft.dat file was 18 MB in size due to the great size of the map I host. Additionally, doing a /save-all does not lock the server up for 20 seconds anymore. That issue started with 1.6.4 as well and was resolved with this fix. I thought I'd share my experience with this bug. Thanks.

I run a small to medium sized dedicated bukkit server and for over a week I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out why my server lags in 1.6 where in 1.5 it did not. I juggled my plugins around, enabling, disabling, updating them. I ended up deciding to just run vanilla for a while thinking it was bukkit, but I got the same lag on vanilla. It only happens at night and I have suspected it was the zombie AI. So this past week I've been keeping the sun frozen in the sky because if I don't night will last 15-20 min with the stars jumping around. Also I have tried to switch hosts and that didn't help at all.

Came across this post just now. Decided to really test zombie AI to see if it was the issue. With nobody on my server, and me in creative, I spawned in 50 zombies, switched to survival, ran around a little bit then messed with their path tracking by blocking myself in. With only myself online, the stars were jumping around and I had quite a bit of entity lag.

I'm glad I found this bug report and I hope this helps! ~Troy
