I have the same problem and can't play minecraft because of it. Mustek the answer you linked is buried in 50 pages of crap. The is literally thousands of comments to look through. I don't have time for that shit. Give us an answer please.
yes it crashes in 1.8.4.
I'll add a crash report for single player.
Also it doesn't crash when i play Tekkit or Attack of the B-Team
