this issue has not been resolved, I haven't changed my xbox email account. downloading the xbox console app ( even the beta version) has had no effect on my surface pro X. I havent been able to play Minecraft online on my Surface pro X since the 18th of Aug. I have cleared my credentials on this devise to no avail. I have also removed minecraft and reinstalled to no avail, just lost all the hours I spent to make my world as I wanted it. I've had to rebuild all of it and can only play it off line. I log into my microsoft account and I can't load the game at all. so to link my original post with the others based on the fact that of gee, they have the same outcome, must be the same symptoms is not actually looking at what is causing the problem, can't say that because this issue is happening on a console is the same problem that is happening on a laptop or even a tablet. very short sighted in my opinion. please continue to work this issue.
