Tried it again last night with the map selected on the hotbar and it worked - achievement unlocked (Treasure Hunter). I typically hold a map in my off hand - maybe that's the problem?

I recently finally reached a woodland mansion and defeated 4 Evokers inside there but the Feeling Ill achievement did not unlock.

Just wanted to note my experience with this. I unlocked Me Gold on 11/11/2018, but have entered an ocean monument on 12/3/2018 and a woodland mansion last week found on maps acquired from trading with Cartographers and neither one unlocked the Treasure Hunter achievement. On current release (1.8.102.0) of Minecraft for Win10.
