This is happening to me with my single player worlds. I'm using the same skin I've used for ages with the options from the vanilla dressing room items. No downloadable cosmetics apart from the twich cape. I dont see whats so inappropriate about it.
It takes a while to boot up minecraft allready. I dont want to wait another 5 minutes waiting on my skin to load. Before this issue, the game just gave me a random default skin if I entered a world before my skin loaded.
