This continues to be an issue as of 1.17.0. I see this myself, and MCPE-130350 duplicates this issue. When are we going to see some movement on this?
Also noticed on beta 1.16.30.53 Windows 10. It's as if on spawning from a larger cube's death, they doublejump, which can end up with you surrounded and dead in seconds.
Observed multiple times attempting to build in the basalt deltas, where magma cubes spawn like crazy and the big ones jump down from high up out of sound range. Gameplay becomes frustrating with the combination of no-sound, this bug, and the sheer number of their spawns.
I'm seeing this in the 1.9 Release (not snapshot). Sticky Pistons (hooked up to an armor stand timer with soul sand) are duplicating Chiseled Stone, and pushing out the duplicates.
Logging out of the server and back in will reset it, so it still appears to be client side.
This issue has been going on for over a year. Is there any intent to fix this?
