I’d also like to note that the issue is EVEN worse when playing on a realm. If i play on my realm I average (What feels like) 25 to 30 FPS with MAJOR FPS dips and lag spikes when ever it auto saves. Seriously the frame rate can seemingly get as low as like 4 frames when autosaving. And not to mention about 40% of the time the game will literally freeze up while auto saving and loading into a world, realm or server (Which it usually does and isn’t a big deal but with this update its now freezes upwards of like 2 or 3 minutes while joining a world.). I CANNOT believe that no one at Mojang seemingly hasn’t played the Switch version to see the problems for themselves! This absolutely unacceptable. I haven’t played the Switch version in a while just because of this.
About the SD card thing, I don't have one. Our family does have 3 Switches with Minecraft and they all have the same problem. One is mine without an SD card (I mostly buy physical), one has a physical copy of Minecraft and the other has it installed on an SD card (Its a 200GB SanDisk SD card. And yes we have checked that its genuine.) We have all had performance problems since the update before 1.9.0 but ever since 1.9.0 it’s gotten worse. Of course this isn’t to say that cheap SD could cause problems.

Same issue. Interestingly enough, my laptop with Intel HD Graphics has this problem but my desktop with the same graphics does not. I have updated the graphics driver on both and it did not help the laptop.
