Just confirmed that the problem still exists in 1.16.0.58 Beta.
That's correct, John. I meant to update the original report. I should note that other entities seem to go through without issue, and that mobs going from the Nether to the Overworld just disappear, but do not cause a crash.
Why do you keep changing the title? It is a crash to desktop.
Uhhh... you do know that there are differences in redstone connectivity between Java Edition and Bedrock (MCPE), right...?
Is that Sega comment supposed to be a dig at Mojang? You are playing a beta. Expect to have bugs. Either accept them; actually try to be useful and describe the problem in detail, as in giving the steps to reproduce the problem, the expected results, the actual results, etc; or just stop playing the beta.
K thanks.
I have done that, but it doesn't fix the problem. None of the mobs I send to the Nether end up there.
Nether limbo?
Seems to happen, in my case, after sending baby villagers to the Nether. The next time I try to enter, the game crashes to desktop. Then, when I reopen, I appear in the overworld about 10 blocks to the northeast. Always to the same position. The first time it happened, I loaded inside of solid blocks, and had to break my way out to avoid being suffocated. After several times of this happening, I was able to go to the Nether, as normal, only to discover that my baby villagers were nowhere to be found.
Something seems to have changed. I have sent several mobs through the Nether portal. When I go through the portal, the game isn't crashing, but only one of the mobs has made it into the Nether. I have done this several times with the same results; several mobs go into the portal, but only one comes out. There are no limbo entries in either the Overworld or the Nether. It would be helpful if more people experimented and posted your results.
