I get the Minecraft splash screen, then see the aquatic background briefly before the screen turns black. Doesn't respond to any inputs after that and I have to force close the app. It worked fine on this phone prior to the aquatic update. I tried uninstall and reinstall and still have same problem.
If you look at the reviews on the Store page for the app it appears to be a pervasive problem that a lot of people are having.
Yep, same issue for me with new 1.7 version. Gets to the same place as before but now crashes rather than a black screen. Upon restart I get an error message saying "resources failed to load previously"
You really have to wonder if they do any testing at all before putting out these releases.
