I'm having this issue as well but with the live version of Minecraft Bedrock 1.17.0

We have both checked our privay settings and everything is set to allow/everyone.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open friends profile in Minecaft
2. See mute is selected
3. Deselect mute
4. Click Okay
5. Still can't get messages
6. Open firends profile in Minecraft agai
7. Mute is still seleted

Observed Result:
Can't get messages from friend even though I have un-selected mute. No matter what I do mute stays selected even when I turn it off. This is not the case for any other 6 friends on the server. Only one person.

Expected result:
After un-selecting mute, friend should be unmuted
