I have the exact same issue but in Creative mode, also on Nintendo Switch. Happens on a specific world (34MB). Crashes with message "The software was closed because an error occured". Always happens after ~1min 30s of gameplay. No progress done during that time is saved. I have tried the following without success:
Restarted console
Updated console software
Updated game version
Checked for corrupt data
Deleted/re-downloaded the game
Also tried copying the world, but the copy gets the same error :/
