survival world crashing game

I have a survival world that whenever I enter it, it loads up for a few minutes, then the game crashes and I get a screen that says "the software was closed due to an error." When I re-open the world, it doesn't save any of the progress I made in the few minutes I was in the world; it just sets back to the same point every time. I'm able to play on any other world, however I can't play on that specific world or any copies I may make of it. This has been going on for about a week. I've tried everything, I've deleted the game off my home screen, reset my Nintendo switch, updated it to the latest version, but nothing seems to work. This world is a larger one, as it takes up around 90MB of space. I don't understand why it all of a sudden won't work!

I have the exact same issue but in Creative mode, also on Nintendo Switch. Happens on a specific world (34MB). Crashes with message "The software was closed because an error occured". Always happens after ~1min 30s of gameplay. No progress done during that time is saved. I have tried the following without success:

  • Restarted console

  • Updated console software

  • Updated game version

  • Checked for corrupt data

  • Deleted/re-downloaded the game

Also tried copying the world, but the copy gets the same error :/Β

Hi

Would it be possible to upload copy of affected world? If it exceeds file size limit you can use OneDrive or similar file hosting service and share link.

How would I go about uploading a copy of that world onto a file hosting service such as OneDrive from the switch? I can’t seem to figure out how to do that.Β

The only way to upload a world from the Switch would be to upload it to a Realm and then download it from the Realm on a PC or mobile device. Please don't purchase a realm subscription just to do that.

Is this still an issue after the 1.17.41 Hotfix?
