Yes, there is a chunk border that crosses and does not include the lightning rods.
I have not tried to reproduce it on a regular copy of local. As most of my playing is on realms.
I will see if I can reproduce it on local.
Edit: I have not been able to reproduce it inside of a local copy. Testing methods:
Set simulation distance to 4 chunks to match realm.
Built wooden building with two lightning rods on top matching my realms set up.
Used a clock with a piston moving up and down so i could see when the chunks were unloaded.
Marked out 4 chunk borders away from the building. ensuring half was in the active chunk and
half was outside the active chunk and unloaded.
Commanded a thunderstorm and added a dropper full of channeling tridents to shoot the lightning rods. with a long redstone line to power it from the chunk that would unload half the building. Was unable to duplicate any fire.
I do believe i had a AFK platform of glass above my building because i was trying to find out where mobs were spawning inside of it. Im pretty sure the glass covered up atleast one of the two lightning rods. So im wondering if both happened to be covered and lightning just so happened to strike the structure.
Have not been able to reproduce on local, however the minecarts do seem to be glitchy in their movements and not move across the rails smoothly. Only on realms.
Ok, so after some more investigating. I think it is related to the bug to where you can glitch through 1 high blocks after hitting a wall with your elytra. ( Bug MCPE-109925 )
So i believe this might be fixed as well as that with the 1.18 update?
I found that the bug is inconsistent. but occurs on both realms and local.
You normally will not snag on the hopper. unless you hit a wall while flying with an elytra.
To duplicate, place down a hopper on the ground. Use a elytra and rocket to fly head first into a solid wall.
Go next to hopper and try to jump.
Hello, I cannot duplicate this on a local copy of a world. Only on realms. However the carts do seem to lag as they move and do not move smoothly as they should. The Setup that I use is my smelter array. Image attached below. The lower rail track is a fuel cart for the furnaces. the upper rails are for the items. The fuel cart (Lower) will jump up onto the item minecart track and back down simultaneously but does not deposit items. You can see the lower rail at the bottom. this pattern alternates over and over again. having a lower rail between every set of visible hoppers with powered rails on top of them. This is a 86 furnace array. Reproduction is very hit or miss, As it only does it some times. Possible could be due to lag on realm losing track of the minecart location?
I just attached a .Mov to show you exactly what the carts are doing. Hope this helps! Seems to be doing it primarily around corners. 11/30/21
