I made an export of my old survival world and made a ticking area in a quad iron farm to check what was the rates. I came back and the chest was empty. It was weird since I saw the chunk loading when I was getting close to it and that usually never happens when I set up a ticking area.

I am having the same issue with iron golems. The first one disappeared and I thought that maybe it escaped so I created a new one but with a name tag and I put fences in him but still he despawned. I made a third one but I'm keeping him with lead and that fixed my issue but it's still annoying.
