I can't seem milk a cow either. I have the latest version on Ipad. I push the MILK button. it fills up the bucket then instantly empties.

This has happened to me a few times now on the ipad edition. Twice today. And it seems to be creating extra boats as, I have three now!
It happened as I was rowing one with a tamed wolf in back. I somehow transported to a new one nearby my original. It bizarrely rowed past me carrying my wolf!
