We have tried all the work arounds. No success. We:

  • deleted worlds

  • stopped cloud backup because it wasn't working and still said we were at the 2GB limit for the account

  • we deleted the save data for the account on a previous switch and stopped its cloud backup for the user

  • we corrected download and backup issues with other accounts on both switches

  • we restarted multiple times after almost every step

The switch is still saying the account has 2GB of data for the account stored on the console, but the account is only showing about 500MB of data inside of Minecraft settings. I can't figure out how to get that number down without deleting everything (the game and probably all account data, but at least all account data for the problem account) and reinstalling. We would rather not lose the worlds that my kids have put a lot of time into already.
