So because there are 'some' unfavorable uses it shouldn't be supported for the rest of us that have perfectly valid uses?

I run a server from the same computer I play on. My fiance is overseas and plays on said server with me. When the authentication servers are down I have to use offline mode for us to play together. Even without her on, I can't log on to it myself from the same computer without offline mode when the authentication servers are down.

When we get to see each other in person we'll play the same server on our own local network. Still have the same issue with the authentication servers sometimes and have to switch to offline mode.

I have also observed this bug. So far it doesn't matter what surface I put an item frame on or what side of the surface. They always have this smoke particle effect after being placed.
